Global Corporate Accommodations
Global Corporate Accommodations traces its origins back to 1994, when founding partner Neile McTaggart began her career in property management, managing multiple apartment communities in central New Mexico for the 3rd largest property management company in the nation.
By 1998, Neile was transferred to Texas where her tenure spanned nearly a decade. She took over a division of this large management company where she was responsible for a multi-million dollar asset. These assets or apartment communities were located in a less than desirable area of Houston with extremely high crime statistics. The developer invested millions to redevelop and re-position these communities. The decision was then made to offer corporate accommodations specifically at these communities/area. The corporate housing division was extremely successful under Neile’s management, however, the client base she created wanted additional options throughout the Texas area. Because the developer was specific to the area, Neile was given the opportunity to take over this acquisition in order to provide her clients with these additional options throughout Texas. This was an opportunity of a life time and one she refused to pass up.
In 2001, Neile opened the doors to Global Corporate Accommodations operating under NLM Enterprises, Inc. She was then able to cater to a broader audience. She quickly expanded throughout Texas and into New Mexico opening up a second office in the Permian Basin, specifically in Midland, in 2005 where she promoted Amy Reed as Senior Vice President.
Amy has an extensive background in marketing and customer service, making her the ideal candidate for the position. Amy was able to expand Global Corporate Accommodations even further, as the concept of “corporate housing” was extremely new in the area and basically non-existent. For the first time, extended-stay business travelers had a spacious alternative to the average hotel room. The same alternatives they experienced in other markets only now available in the Midland/Odessa area. GCA is one of few corporate housing providers in the Permian Basin having an office with staff. This office has grown extensively since its beginnings as a maid service operation.
Neile’s vision of a single point of contact that serves corporate-relocation needs virtually anywhere in Texas and southeastern New Mexico quickly became a reality. Global Corporate Accommodations client base grew to include several Fortune 500 companies, government and military personnel as well as the leisure traveler.
To date, Global Corporate Accommodations is one of the most established corporate housing providers in the Permian Basin and still focuses on exceeding your every expectation, one guest at a time.
